Diamond plating for front of TT

Have you all seen the newer travel trailers with the diamond plate accross the front?

Well my 2000 Dutchmen dosen't have this and I would like to add this,anyone know where I can get some of this?

Hi Guy! I also thought about putting that on the front of my 2004 Jayco 281RLS to protect it from rocks and stuff. Several local sheet metal fabricators and welding shops around here carry it. They will cut it to any size you need. I was going to draw a template or scale diagram so they could cut out an opening for my front storage access hatch. Have not priced it yet. Hope I won't be too shocked!

Diamound Plate for front of TT

Have you thought about using Roll on BED Liner? All you need is masking tape and a roller. Water and dirt won't get behind it and if you go to your local spray on bed liner dealer. They can spray almost any color. A lot of Airstreamers and Avioners have done this to replace Vinal bras.

I posted just that on another forum,I had bought some that is in a spray can from Walmart to do my truck bed,but was contemplating using it on the front of the TT,may just do it

is the place to get it. They have a lot of colors plus you can get it in the smooth type; no lumps like for bed.

I have towed some TT's with the bright diamond plating, and didn't like it. When backing up your backup lights reflecting from your trk. can really blind you, also the reflections from oncoming traffic on 2 lane roads can blind you. I would go with something that is not chrome or real shiney.
