4 CYL "Powerstroke" in Brasil

Dodge Hybrid in Motor Trend

Paid $1. 65 last week..... then this week it jumped to $1. 91. Both of those prices are at the cheapest places in town... ... however last week it was the Exon Station ... . this week the local BP.

If it breaks $2. 00 a gallon my 315's are coming off. #@$%!

Not cheap here

Hah !!... if it breaks $2. 00 a gallon, I would love it. Most stations around here have it at $2. 299, with a few as low as $2. 239... . Lowest gasoline is about $1. 939, so I guess we win... . I mean LOSE... .

You do know I meant that is it gets to $2 a gal. or higher right?

2. 33 on my side of town, 2. 29 at the local truck stop. I can see how this could easily devolve into a political thread

Inland Empire, CA... ... Riverside county. CHEAPEST 2. 29 Highest I have seen (Shell in Hemet CA) 2. 79..... Thankk goodness for the valvoline synpower. Getting 18-20 Back and forth to work, and 16-17 PULLING loaded on the highway!!!!!

North of Chicago, just a little South of the Wisconsin state line. $2. 09 - $2. 14, still 30 cents higher than regular.

Doesn't seem to be any rime or reason for it either. They are just ripping us off and know that theres not much you can do about it...

Diesel should be the cheapest fuel of all. Our hidden taxes--we are too dumb to know it's taxed if the label doesn't tell--hits business hard.

Remember when the pumps had labels that told how much tax we paid?

I think the oil co's are holding down the price of gasoline despite the price of oil rising and I think that is putting pressure on diesel.

I was in Vegas last week - it was $2. 21 in many stations. When I got back to Albuquerque, I noticed the sign in front on the Love's truckstop is screwed up - seems they didn't design it for over $1. 99!

Maybe they will lower their price so they don't have to buy a new sign!

What really steams me is that regular unleaded is 15-20 cents a gallon cheaper!

I wouldn't go out of my way to **** off a trucker - they are probably looking to kill right now!

I was going to ask too...

When I bought my 3G it was $1. 68 here in central Ohio, about $. 18 cheaper than regular at the time. Now it's up over $2. 00. About $. 08 higher than regular, makes no sense.

This definetly puts a hurt on those who haul for a living.

I've always thought that it takes less refinement to produce diesel fuel. I wonder what their reasoning is this time.

The only thing that I've heard is about the hurricanes shutting down ports and some refineries.

Cheapest I could find here in town was $1. 92 two days ago. Here's an interesting link on prices, taxes, etc.

2. 35/gal in the South Bay and has held there for a week. Diesel runs consistently more than Super Premium Unleaded. So much for buying a diesel for fuel mileage and cheaper fuel, at least in So Cal!

That's right, diesel is taxed higher than gas. On a per gallon basis the tax is higher than the profit made by the oil companies that do all the work (drilling, pumping, refining, transporting), and politicians have the balls to call oil companies gougers.

$2. 39 at my local station, higher than premium gas.
