I had a first run HX40 on my old 12 valve and this is WAY better than the 40 was on the 12 valver. I can see around 30 psi boost, egts are a wee bit higher, but nothing excessive, cool down before I shut her off happens much faster, I haven't gained nor lost any MPG, and the sound of it is definitely unique. In my honest opinion, the turbocharger was well worth its price, and the price of the new PacBrake I installed in place of my turbo mount PacBrake, and the trouble of removing my entire exhaust and re-working it to make the inline PacBrake happen.

Yes free oh did I mention free. . NOCHARGE
Ive tested alot of turbos and found some real junk with no mention to anyone but more for the quest for the knowledge. This turbo is good.
