Noticed about 200° higher EGT's than my DD HX-40 and it only ran for about 45 minutes!

Unfortuneatly, I think you are the first with one on a 3rd gen... other than DD themselves



This has gotta be a fluke, I cant imagine a $2000, and this is the best it is?



Good luck on the next one... PS - Bought a Sledpuller66 a week ago, and had HTT put new bearings in it, I will post when I get it in, might be an acceptable second choice if it does not spool like a total pig

Not really, See heres how it went down:



Bought used Sledpuller of a TDR/DTR member - a 593hp truck (hint,hint)



Great price - but thought it might be a good idea to get a clean bill of health from the maker (HTT) before it gets a good whoop'in from me...

SOOO - I had the guy I bought it from ship it directly to Paul at HTT and asked him to give a clean look'in over



that said - $140 later It has new bearings and a was re-balanced



Was it needed? the guy said not really, But the new bearings give me some leverage with HTT if this turbo does south on me - So $140 = cheap insurance I guess

Cool... I may be in the same boat... The sledpuller was looking really good until Edge came out with the 1 year warenty.



I have not made up my mind on getting another Jammer yet.

Do they actually own it or just have a vested interest in it? I thought it was just the vested interest. Probably has EDGE on it cuz they funded the development. Other vendors besides DD are already selling it.

Matt400, I have tested the DD BB turbo(Edge). It worked very well on my 3rd gen. I think I was the first 3rd gen to try it on this board(maybe not). I had it up to 42psi, and temps never went over 1400 on the end of the pulls in 5th and 6th. I tried it with a few different boxes to get some decent comparisons.

It is now happy in its permanent home on a new 05 running an ATS manifold and an Edge Juice. Maybe the new owner will chime in on this thread with his impression real soon.

Mine had a problem and is going to have to be sent back. I was told it spooled up extremely well but made a pop noise and now growls. Hopefully the bugs can be worked out.

BHaner is PDR40 & real close to 500hp, I think.
