Looking for Things to See on Honeymoon Trip

ford 6.0 ps mules

Hi

Does anyone know of a GOOD/REPUTABLE diesel shop in Wa. I'm on the road and will be in the Grand Coulee area for a few months. I'd like to have my KDP taken care of for peace of mind and maybe some other work done. Normally I'd do this work myself with some beer and a buddy but since I'm far from home have no place to do it.

I've never taken any of my trucks to a shop before and am a little hesitant, but I'd like to take care of the KDP. I'm willing to drive a couple hrs or so for experience and good work. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If I were you I would get in touch with the Northwest Bombers.

Ask them about someone close to where you are going to be. Lots of them post on here as well and will help you if they see it. They are a superior group of people, and will help if at all possible.

Give Danny at D&J Repair in Manson (near Chelan) a call 509-687-9302. He's very good. You're in tractor land out there, there are many good shops around that don't specialize in Dodges but can handle any diesel engine. There are good shops in Waterville, Brewster and Coulee City. Avoid the dealer in Wenatchee.

There is a Cummins service center off I-90 just west of Spokane. I haven't had any work done there as I am on the other side of the Cascades but remember seeing it as I was driving to Spokane. Good luck.

Thanks

Thanks for the info.

I think I'll look into the Cummins dealer first to see about getting the KDP remedied. Never thought about a tracter shop, good idea. Case used Cummins engines (right?) did they use the B series? If so did they have the KDP problem?

I'm also hoping to do some bombing after I get gauges in the near future. I'll check out the NW bombers web site maybe I can find some help there. I don't usually feel comfortable asking for help from someone I don't know unless I can help them out in some way myself (goes around comes around sorta deal).

Thanks again

Regards

Mike
