i am looking for the storage container that goes under the back seat. mine is a 98. 5 and didnt come with one. i went to the local dodge dealer and they said that they discontinued it a few years back. does any company out there make these aftermarket? i have checked 3 junk yards alreadyand nothing.

I have one here I'd get rid of but I'd bet it would not be cheap to ship or easy to box.

I bought it from one of the guys years ago who placed a sub-woofer system under his seat and was going to install it in mine. When I went to install it in mine(Mines a 98 also)I found out the mounting brackets were part of the rear seat frame and I didn't have them and they were expensive from Ma Mopar. I had a couple of plates cut and made like the factory brackets and just lost interest and put it in the attic. The one I have is black in color and if thats what you want send me a PM... ... Andy

I just did a google search for "under seat storage for pick up" and came up with atleast 1. 5 pages of results for various after market under seat storage units for trucks. Gotta beable to find something that works.

got one

Where are you located? I have one just taking up room in the shop... the price is right if you want it. .

free.

I'm near Sacramento CA.

Storage under rear seat

I glued some carpet to some plywood and mounted it to the floor with metal brackts about 2 inches back from front of seat leaving a 2 inch gap. Looks like it belongs there. I did the same with both front seats. Now lots of storage. BAD BOB

If your in Roanoke,Va I can fix you right up there... .

All you will have to do is slip out of bed about 3am and run up to Peters Creek Road and meet me and I will give you mine and it will not cost you anything to ship it at all. You will have to give me to the weekend to find the brackets we made as I know they are over in my truck box at the care car shop and I will not get there until Saturday.

I drive truck and turn Roanoke,VA daily Monday nite to Friday nite and throwing it in the truck is not a big deal if you want it. Mine is in good condition, just dusty from laying in the attic for the last 4 years and I will gather the brackets up this weekend that we made for it. I can do it any nite next week if you want,Let me know... ... . Andy

man that works out so perfecly. i work at ups right off peterscreek and i have to be there at 3:30 am so that will be no problem. i work monday thru friday so any day is good. just let me know when and where.

The seat hinges with the proper brackets are available at the dealer, but as I believe has been mentioned, they are very expensive. $96 for one side, $89 for the other. I tried ordering all the parts separately from the dealer, but the parts added up to something like $700. They also offered a locking storage organizer in the accessory catalog that I've found for around $150. I eventually found a couple in wrecked trucks.
