Axle flip on low riding car trailer??

Electronic Brake Control

I Have 29ft Coachman that need some tlc, part of it is where the outer covering was damaged and the wood is rotted. Are ther any sites that have some good how to on RVs. I'm planing on redoing quite a bit of the rv soon so i can enjoy it at some point.

I've done this before... . ripped a roof off, and most of one side to repair it... took the roof off and every thing sort of followed suit...

I went to a trailer scrap yard and looked how one was put together and than went at it... if your good with hand tools and understand basic construction... . its a cinch and through a local supplier you can buy anything you need... . be prepared to find a lot more wrong than you thought.....

My roof to edge was the cause of my problem... . I put new rafters in that were crowned (not flat) so that water and snow would run off not rest in a puddle... . and redid most of 1/2 of one side... ...

Hope this helps...

I've done this on a 5th wheel that I have since sold. Just be careful removing the aluminum skin and you can then see what has to be done.

I had lots of dry rot. I used epoxy filler and then sister ribbed what had dry rot.

Putting the skin back on, I used the butal rubber calking instead of the cheap stuff.

It's really not a big job, but time consuming.
