dodge height?????

I have a 98 2500,quad cab,4 wheel,diesel,8 ft bed
What is the correct height of this truck?
The distance from tire to fender on front and rear i s apprx. 1-2 inches less than some other dodge trucks i see. Truck being a diesel was ordered with all the h. d options that come with a diesel. I have a 97 reg. cab which stands higher,and this little extra height i believe makes a big diff. in the look of the truck.

Not real sure of the height should be, but I think the is a bullentin from dodge that addresses spring sag. but i think its for the rear leafs. It is bullentin 02 03 97a
has to do with sagging in rear end

Bill - not sure what the correct heigth is but my 99 sits 2 inches higher than my identically equipped (except for transmission) 97 did.

My 98. 5 2500 sits kind of low in the front. My grandfather's 94 2500 has a pretty commanding stance, and my 98. 5 has about the same rear height... . our front sits lower though. Can you swap front coils to heavier ones to increase ride height?

There are many kits to even things out.
I think the rear is higher 'cause Dodge expects people who buy these trucks to actually haul things with them. Put a decent load in it and it will be level. Me thinks it's more important to be level when hauling a load than BOMBing around town.
In the 60's a lowered front and higher rear was cool!

Well, I tow my Jeep on its trailer a lot and that load is a little under 7000#. It still kinda sits up in the back. I had the bed filled with about 400# or so and a little more tongue weight than normal and it finally sat about level. I just want the front end to come up, it is lower than most 2500's I see. It looks prerunner style.
