The 3/36 and 5/100 warranties gave me confidence. How's that for shortening the rope some more?
(Sometimes I miss the simplicity of the 1960's with carburetors and ignition points - usually I could get one running enough to limp to the next town back then.)

Rusty,
I can help with that problem, still got the 1977 Dodge M880 on the market.
Made a mistake, and knew it. Test drove one in Stephenville, TX.
I'm old enough to know better, and still lit a fire that's burning three-days later.
Just don't do it.
I have been thinking about ordering a '15 Laramie 3500 dually. I visited my local dealer and test drove a late production '14 Laramie dually with a 68RFE, 3.73 ratio, a couple of weeks ago and quite frankly, I was a bit disappointed. I liked the 6-speed automatic in combination with the exhaust brake. The 14,000-b. GVWR is over the weight I haul for a change. The fit and finish was very good, but the engine, road, and wind noise was about the same as my '03 3500 Laramie dually and I was not impressed by all the distracting electronic gadgets in the cab. As a result of the test drive, I'm putting ordering a '15 "on the back burner" ... no danger hearing the words, "press hard, three copies"... not yet.

My wife has told me that I can get a new 3500SRW Crew Cab truck; only if I buy her a new 5er and pay cash for both. I told her I don't want to do that as of yet. But she has started to look at mid price 5er's with the rear living room in them.
