I have a Mag Hytec transmission pan with a drain plug Normally I would let the truck sit for a couple of days pull the plug and drain out 9-10 quarts. Then when I dropped the pan to do the filter or other things a couple times I would not have such a drippy of a mess but still got pretty messy. I’m trying to mitigate the mess for my two creeper helpers in my up and coming repairs. Question can I start the truck for a bit and let it pump more fluid thru to drain out or do I risk hurting the transmission. I know there’s also a way to drain the torque converter but I have never done this before. Thanks
