Don,

What do you mean the East has no power for the most part... :). Muncie will be fun, I don't think I will pull but one never knows. My truck is not yet equipped for sledding but Sundays event should be fun.

Ok ok less the JetPilot hot-rod and a few scattering of others the East is kinda behind. :)

Don~

cool picture

:--) Do you guys ever bring the sled pulling up into the great white north of Canada. ? I would surely go see that kind of action and have a few friends that can`t believe thew power we are able to get out of these lil ol 5. 9`s :D . I guess they are used to their power jokes and chevys

One thing for sure we have figgered out on this thread--Don M has no clue about truck pulling~

I know of no pulls in canada, does not mean we can't have though.

Would sure be fun to see!! How close to the border near Alberta do they come?? I imagine our poor canadian $$ would not do too much for convincing you guys to come up here( prise $)

Hey sled puller, are you coming up for the diesel dyno stampede in Calgary in july?? Garth

I have swore off The North, since the Froggiues liberated my new 97 a couple years back!!!!!!!!:(

The Kentucky pull Saturday had some VERY SERIOUS Indiana pullers at it, The trucks to beat at Muncie, no doubt.

Don~

:D Heheheh! Guess you ain't seen much, eh?

Don,

If you think your ludicrous remarks have any effect on the people who matter, you are wrong. (again! what a record you have!)

They just smile and laugh, and go RIGHT ON WINNING!!!!

Hey, somebody let me know when an ALL West Coast Part truck goes to a pull.

Jim is just to cobbled up to count, he has stuff from all over the country!!!Oo.

Gene, Gene, Gene,

You and msmtd drank too much moonshine tonight at the pulls. :D

Well, I wont be pulling with my truck. I have no clue how to. I will let you be the victor in that event. Perhaps we could have spelling contest instead. :p

Oh, good showing tonight at the pulls. Really! I mean that;)

Don~

Thanks man!

Forgive my spelling, it is late, and I know most gear heads could give a crap if it is right or wrong,so I was careless.

MSMTD was not at our pull, he is two states away.

I did, however, have a great bs session with the Mitchells, Johnboy, Distributor, Blackdog, and several others that are not on the site.

Mitchell is committed to the Buck on June 8th, but will be at Scheids in August.

And prolly all of the ATPA Pro Stock Diesel classes.

Gene,

I was reading through some of the rules for the pulls and noticed the daily driven trucks are limited to one (1) turbo. Does this mean you have to pull in the open class?

Johnboy is on here sometimes. Since he drives a drof I assume he came in last?

Ok, I do have to say that Don is one hellva smart guy. Go look at the "take your plate out" thread for an example. He has had MANY great, informative posts. It's just that he is blinded by all that West coast smoke. ;)

Mr. Sutton,

What I ment is that, much like ice hockey, no 2 referees are the same, so therefore no 2 sled operators are the same. East coast hockey and West coast hockey are VERY different, yet much the same. Could the same not be true for this sport? Think of drag racing MANY moons ago(back in the 60's I think) when a East coast guy was PAID to make an apperance at a West coast event, and ended up WHOOPING EVERY SINGLE ONE! Now I am not relating this coast thing to that, but just an example of how a sport can very from coast-to-coast.

Now as for Mr. Fuller I know will do well, he'd have to break not too. But he's not on his home turf like in Cali, for MM.

Andrew

Johnboy did not pull.

What rules were you reading Don? I have posted the ATPA rules before, they allow two turbos.

At Muncie I will be open.

I also will be pounded!! I just saw the results of the KT pull, some hot Diesels will be in Muncie, and I'm not talking about Mitchell trucks.

This thread is great.......

I few thoughts I have had about this thread so far... ...

1. DD didn't want an individual going out to Muncie and cleaning house without being able to somehow say that they were the ones that did it. (No offense meant Jim)

2. If Don M knew as much about computers and the internet as he does real diesel power and pulling, he wouldn't be able to turn the puter on at all let alone post his babbling on here.

3. It's interesting that with a little math (or "west coast correction") that the 950 hp mid-west engine isn't that big a deal compared to a DD truck that dynoed less.

4. I really hope the western trucks have their stuff together for Muncie so that we don't have to hear a whole bunch of excuses when they get whooped. ;)

This just keeps getting better and better. Man, it's a good thing Muncie is just around the corner so maybe this crap will stop when Mid-West puts on a pounding.

MITCHELLIZED!!

It is sad that DD was grasping at straws and jumped on Jims bandwagon.

They had to.

Becuase the next DD DYNO DAY, Jim would have WHOOPED them.

Just like a big corporation, buy out the little guy who is annoying you.

Any victory Jim has will be tainted for DD though, (Not for Jim!;) )

because getting a turbo to live at the track is half the battle, and we know where his turbos came from!
