Strange thing happened today. The wife and drove into Bend, Oregon this morning. Made several stops for shopping after last stop noticed DTC light on. Drove home 30 miles with it on. parked truck. Read code with my scangauge II code U0001. After an hour or so I drove to Napa to have them verify and no DTC engine light. They pulled up inactive code U0001 and cleared it. My truck is a 2014 Ram 3500, Laramie Cummins with 45800k miles. Never had any issues. I have a sneaky hunch it might be time for Batteries as it seems to not turn over like it used to. I'm wondering if this might be the problem. Any thoughts or advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Scotty

If I recall correctly, I get that code now and then when using TorquePro OBD app on tablet or smartphone with Kiwi 3 dongle to monitor engine parameters while towing. TorquePro appears to stop recording data at this time, have to unplug dongle and plug it back in for data recording to resume. Not sure of the cause but code clears shortly. Doesn't happen often.

I was in the fuel lane, after filling the tank and resetting the trip monitors is when the ECL warning came on. I'm not running any tuner or monitors completely stock. I have a scan gauge II from my previous Ford Powerstroke that I used to pull up and clear the code. The code was up for around 30 miles. After shutdown it never returned, I have driven it several times since with no problems. I think with all the computer systems in these new vehicles sometimes they just have a burp, Fart or momentary glitch.

Thank you for the feedback, Scotty
