with the lights on, the fender markers will go out when the brake is applied, if the wire is tied to the rear turn signals. But if you run the wire to the front and use the front for the trigger then they will stay on when the brake is applied, and flash when the turn signal is applied. So the trade off is if you want the signal to light with the brakes applied, or the markers to just flash when applied. What I am saying is they will go out when the brake is applied if you wire to the rear. This is what I found out doing my GM.
