Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) e-z question

Hi all, Is there a way to test your edge e-z mine is about four years old and I have added mock 1. 5 injectors last year and now it seams to smoke pretty good now with moderate to heavy foot on take off and leaving soot on the lower bed. This may also have just caught my eye and I'm worrying to much Thank's Don
