Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I bought an ecm in 2008 from Auto Computer Exchange with a lifetime warranty. It went out on me recently and when I tried to get it warrantied they told me I needed to have an invoice slip with a big "LIFETIME WARRANTY" stanped in red on it. Well I do noy have this invoice as they sent me the carbon copied invoice along with the rebuilt ecm BEFORE I sent the core to them. Well, I DID send in the core but I got no credit for it and therefore no lifetime warranty. I just got hosed by this company as many others have over the years.
Buyers beware!
I bought another one just now from another place in FL called All Computer Resources, Inc. (For all I know they are a different branch of the same company) Anyway, they promise all the same things.......I hope I don't have to ever try to warranty this one. The one from 2008 was $495. They are now $895 :{
2 ecm's in a little over 200k miles.......... I regret owning this truck more often than I don't anymore. The only thing it really has going for it is that it's paid for and a new(er) truck costs so dang much.
