I was thinking about going this route on my 2002 Automatic and wondered if anyone else had this setup and how well it has worked? I was going to install a seperate fuel gauge with the Edge but saw in the installation instructions that it taps into the fuel line at the VP44 and the fuel filter... . plus they don't make a single gauge pillar mount WITH the attitude for a 2002 with the speaker, only 2003 and up.

I'm currently running the Juice W/Attitude on my '01. I'm very satisfied at the value of the system. Among other things, it includes a tapped banjo bolt to install in place of the factory bolt where the fuel line goes to the VP44. I also includes an electronic sending unit for the harness to plug into. One thing that I really like about this setup is that you can monitor fuel pressure, or just set the alert feature to warn you if it drops below a preset amount.

You will like the Edge unit. Yes it moniters fuel pressure, but also other things and you get to pick what info you want displayed. Randy

Very, Very happy with mine. The pressure alarm went off last weekend on a 400 mile trip. Checked all the wires and everything was good, still low pressure. Got it home, changed the filter and took it for a run. 0 psi. 1 year old lift pump gave up the ghost. Never would have known if I hadn't had the pressure guage. Hopefully there was no damage from a 5 mile trip with 1-3 psi. BTW, I bought an upgraded pump at autozone today. It's just like the ones I saw on ebay that replace the carter type pump with one for a standard fuel injection/in-tank type pump. Comes with a 1 year no questions asked warranty, so we'll see how it holds up. The last pump didn't quite make it 10K miles before it quit.
