I've been running my EZ on the first jumper setting. I still have to be careful to roll the power on slowly 'till I get about 10 psi boost or I'll be laying out a tral of black smoke. The EZ & 1. 5's produce more power than the stock clutch can use so no WOT for me.

what level injectors would make the same or less smoke that my BD4's that I have in my truck right now?

Thanks.

Bill

I would bet that the Mach 4's would smoke the same or less than your BD4's. My mach 4's are about the same smoke wise as my DD3's. Maybe a hair more but hardly noticeable. In fact, they are so driveable, i have been wishing i went bigger. Been thinking about selling them and buying 5's, but i think ill wait till the twins are on and go straight to the 6's.

Mach 4's vs BDIV'S in his auto will produce the same if not more smoke, but they also provide more hp. If you want the same ore less smoke... . stick with 2. 5's or 3's. Yes the 4's are drivable, I drive on mine daily, just a lil smokey on the auto w/a tight TC.

Thanks for the info. I recently changed my tc to one that was a little looser to help spool up my HX-40. Made a big difference on low end smoke plus it is a triple disc.

Don't get me wrong I still can smoke the heck out of everything but I know how to control my right foot. :D

I'd go to a Mach 2 if I could get 400 out of my DD2's(675-400=$275 total cost) but then would need at least a pdr 40 (275+800(used)=$1075 total cost. Oh yeah won't go without pacbrake so sell mine(3") for 400 and buy new for 900(4" to fit with the 40) (900-400=500+1075=$1575 total cost for new Mach 2's... . I think I'd better keep the DD2's and be happy. Ohh!! what a slippery slope it is!!!!:--)
