I have a knock coming from my engine that sounds like a lifter, but all the valve lashs are with-in spec. , changed the injectors, overflow valve, next step will be the delivery valve. I bought my truck with 32k, and it had a Dr. Preformance kit installed. Looking for some insight?

Check your exhaust manifold for any leaks or cracks. You might even need to get one of those mechanics mirrors to see the underside of the manifold. You might want to check the turbo bolts as well. I've heard of instances where they come out. An exhaust leak on one of these trucks can make that type of noise. Hope that helps.

My truck has 110k, I have checked all the exhuast bolts. The sound is coming from the front end of the engine, NO, the sound is still there when warm. Some times it sounds like the engine is missing, only on one cylinder.

you have guages?
sounds like you maybe should have. Some smart poeple have said that the DP stuff runs hot, real hot contrary to others beliefs.

You can check for a bad injector or pump barrel by cracking loose (about 1/3 to 1/2 turn) one injection line at a time and see if the idle is affected. Be careful to keep away from the fuel spray--it can go right through the skin into the blood from the high pressure (17,000 psi).

Yea, the injectors were changed, cracked all the fuel lines at the pump and engine idle dropped, but, there still is a knock at the front of engine around the fuel pump. I'm thinking that the delivery valve on the #1 cylinder might be the problem, it was removed to check the timing before I got the truck
