Lowering kit

need a gear

I hope I am in the right place for this post. I just converted a single axle box trailer to electric brakes. My truck has the 7 conductor trailer connection . I had bought an electric brake controller from Northern hydraulic. My question is: On my 97 Dodge with the extended cab, where would I find the trailer relay output connection for the electric brake?? I am assuming that the relay has a set of contacts with one side open for the blue controller wire to tie into. I have the service manual but its not very clear where the plug C128 is located. It just says the upper left body pad??

Its a real spider web under that dash.

Conn

Mine was under the dash near the steering col. and slightly to the left I believe, it was a female 4 wire connector kinda tied up out of the way. Good luck. bg

Thanks ,I'll look again.

I did not see anything tied up, but I'll start pulling wires down to get a better look. The service book identifies the wire as B40 and it seems to be dead ended on an unidentified connector. They only show a dotted box called a trailer provision. I did find connector C128. It was under the truck next to the body donut. All the trailer connection wires come from here and go through the firewall and then disappear into the main harness.

Horay!! I found that darn thing. Since my steering columb had been changed so many times

the mechanic at the dealership must have gotten tired of having the plug in his way. I found it hidden (and taped up completely)stuffed inside that metal divider which is attached to the columb. It was a job just to get it out of there. Thanks guys for all the help. Oo.
