Ok looks good whrer do I order one and how much someone help me please I have a disease its spending money on truck parts when will it ever stop

The US Gear brake uses an electric solenoid to actuate the butterfly valve. The BD brake uses vacuum instead. The BD Brake, in my opinion is a better unit. The electric solenoids have a tendency to screw up, and get stuck wither open or closed.

Check out my page below for pictures of the BD 4" brake before and after installation. I mounted it at the bottom of the down pipe, beside the transmission. I also advise getting the shifter switch option and the 60# springs so you can set the pressure up for better braking. Just check the links section of this site for BD Power or call them at 1-800-887-5830 for the price.

The BD Exhaust brake will fit 4" outlet at the turbo. Just tell them thats teh one you need, I am not sure on the price because I don't have one and don't need one.

I think your only choices are US Gear and the BD brake for the 4" outlet at the turbo.

Wiz you need a 4" remote mount from BD IMO it's the Best going. I guess I will need one soon I made the mistake of driving Adams truck now I gotta have. #ad

I have the BD 4" remote unit and have it mounted safely right at the crossframe, where nothing can hit it from the road. After that, it's 6" all the way back.

I have also installed a solenoid valve that is triggered by the e-brake switches. It changes the feed line for the boost gauge from the intake manifold (boost) to the tap in the E-brake (back pressure). It automatically switches back to boost when the e-brake goes off. Works great and I can monitor e-brake pressure constantly.

While I don't doubt that the BD is an outstanding unit, the upside of the US Gear is that you can swap the old turbo back on for trips to the dealer, and not have to remove the brake.

I intend to have my exhaust setup with two elbows -- one that fits the stock turbo, and one that'll fit the HX-40 when I get it, so it'll be easy to change things out as needed.
