I usually hold a finger in the air to check the wind direction and velocity of the air mass, look up at the sun's position and brilliance and I can tell you the time to the exact minute ... ... In looking at the picture- that looks like ol Ray. And the time appears to be around 2:15 and 52 seconds 53, 54, 55... ... ... ... . :-laf :-laf

and what crank you seeing? I don't see no crank in pic?

Nope that Ray Little of RayMac racing engines. He won’t let me touch the engine on the rotating assembly. Just like on the NASCAR and PRO Stock motor, he just has a feel for thing he says that he can’t explain every thing.

I did, I really did, I saw a crank. Now I see the difference in the 2 pair of arms. Rays are larger.

Take a closer look at the red car in the back ground, that's one cool little 6 cylinder at 9600 rpm... ... . it just has a different sound.

Looking at the pic in post #21, it appears that the pistons have indeed been tweaked.

Coating looks like Swain Tech, GoldCoat, though it looks different under different lighting.

Also note the extra heavy duty wristpins (no doubt, tool steel) and Spirolocks on the table.

It's also interesting to note the watch model: a Citizen Caliber 5700 model-- very nice.

Moreover, he's wearing Levi's 505 jeans in a 40x34 size. And he had McDonald's Value meal #9 for lunch-- with Sweet and Sour sauce.

Finally, the green piece of paper on the lower level of the cart holding the pistons is simply a Haynes manual. After all, even RayMac needs to know how to put the thing back together. .

I don't really notice any type of knife edging on that crank? Hmmmm. Why not?
As a matter of fact those look like the stocker pins for the rods as well? Where's all these liteweight parts you keep tellin us bout? I see your coated pistons and coated main bearings- did you-all play around with the groove size on them main bearing shells?
And yer still playin wif main cap bolts eh?

And why you using a hand truck to move around the hardware?:{ Pick that crankshaft up like a man and show it who's boss. Lol. :-laf :-laf

Ray is in to Mexican food , as his wife . a middle school principal ‘s family is from Mexico . we do get to eat some real south of the border food , and boy it’s a little spicy.



RD you know me better then that , every fastener on my motor is ARP. The mains are the austenitic material we are trying . as a test run from Mike out there. The tensile strength is upwards of 275,000 PSI. the new oil pan is on the jig now and almost finished 5 stages of pump with a vacuum pump on the end



The crank look the same , but is missing 25 lbs of flab, we lost 125 grams off the pistons and about 100 grams off the rods
