your welcome to jump in and run beside me , and don't give me , the standard answer on here , if you had my truck you could , because several have tryed , and as of yet none have measured up. some one again tell me why I'm still the quickest diesel truck if this was so easy.

I'm confused  Exactly what other diesel vehicle have you "lined up" against

Oh, that's right, you've never actually ran your so called "truck" at a diesel event have you? :-laf

The shocking thing about it is I fully intend on lining up against you. I've already purchased the truck . Its just a matter of a lot of work done by myself and Keating Machine... ... . Just ask him.

not afraid of a little competition I can’t wait

Drag racing is about competition, I don't sweat competition, I strive to build a better machine the guy in the other lane, If my competitor is faster then that fact pours adrenal in to the program, and causes the midnight oil to burn brighter . I have race many heavy hitters, and do my best in that type of competition. many have tried , and come up short , I wish you luck, but I don’t fear anyone else’s program, I feel the people I have position around me are capable , if funded at the current rate to dominate any form of diesel drag racing I choose to pursue. All I can say is get out on the track and run,

Diesel drag racing is in it infancy, and the performance curve will go straight up. Just as other forms of drag racing have in the beginning started out slow, and progressed rapidly, It is for this reason I have chosen to stick with diesel engine development, and I feel that the engines we will produce will be the very pentacle of the current state of the performance curve. .

I since bit of arrogance in the fact that you think I should be worried about you, and that you will come out and run faster then my record. That this record is my only claim to fame, and I will not improve on it. Many on here with far more resources have tried and not come close, Keating has come close, but the mark will move soon, I see the 7 second zone as very possible, and will be there soon, that is the mark you need to look at.

Good luck

Both of you are so funny, neither one of you can, or will ever run with me, and all I can say is bring it on, he has a big hill to climb. I believe I have more power, and more knowledge in building and racing Diesel powered maximum effort engines my time slips are al that matter.

By those statements you are just proving our point even more :-laf

Just keyboard racers, you think it’s easy to do what I have accomplished, put the rubber to the track and see. Just a wantabee :-laf :-laf :-laf

Comp I don't know that I ever said it was easy to accomplish what you have done and most certainly you should be proud of it. I'm not trying to discredit your accomplishments or your truck. However your personality, agressive self promotion, and the constant "tooting of your own horn" is unappealing and draws the attention away from what you have done/are doing. JMHO Best of luck with your engine buildup and racing efforts.

lol this is coming from a guy who could't get a street truck in to the 10's

maybe you consult Fletcher

COMP, Joe has had his street truck in the 10's many times, and has won many drag racing awards with it. I would also dare say he has had his diesel street truck down the truck a lot more times than you have in the Dakota. You keep referring to all these trucks that have tried to take you down. Have you ever lined up against the Edge truck? NO!!!! Have you lined up against Keating? NO!!!!!! Have you raced your truck at a major diesel event? I can remember in 03 at the December race in Houston you ran (or should I say attempted to run) and you about suffocated before you got out after the truck slipped timing. Up until Keating came along the EDGE truck is the only other tube chassis truck that you could run against. I am not saying that your truck isn't fast, but who up until recently has been your competition? The EDGE truck has only made one public appearance, and have spent the rest of the time doing testing and r&d. You then continue to slam them because they have not met your expectations on what they should have accomplished based on your calender as well as their so called un-limited budget. You keep on calling Keating and just maybe some of his go fast secrets will get leaked to you. :-laf Because I can assure you your going to have your hands full trying to keep up with him this next year. ;)

You also have no clue about making HP out of these engines.

You are "cutting edge"... . never thought about running a Supra on diesel.

This once was a good thread about a good engine build up, but right around this post it turns into the usual comp461 sucks every one else is better. Then comp comes back with why doesn't someone run better than me and i'll shut up, next thing you know its turned into EVERY thread in the banter forum which is where, from this post forward this thread is better suited.

Not pointing fingers to JHellman specifically.

Now back to the engine build up and take the rest of it to another thread in the banter forum. huh?

yeah really, you _kids_ sound like a buch of Ford ownders. :) Maybe even getting as low as the ricer crowd. :) Grow up a little already.

Where I come from, this kinda banter would end up in a race for pinkslips. That typicly seperates the men from the boys.

... .

I really enjoyed this thread up until this banter. Yes, I'll be the first to say that I know little about diesels since this is my frist truck that I owned. I would like to learn as much from everyone and then sort out the details on my own. So quit cluttering up a perfectly fine thead.

Greg, joey hit the high tens once, mostly ran in the mid elevens in a truck that had every mod from nos to shorten frame. he's not ready to run with the big boys.
