Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I was sitting in my truck waiting for the wife yesterday and found myself compelled to rev up the engine while in Park. I was shocked when I noticed that the engine cut out at around 1700-1800 RPM. I revved it up 4 or 5 times and it did it each time. I shut the truck off and started it back up and it didn't do it again. In fact, it hasn't done it since. The only code stored was a P0500.
My truck has also experienced the dreaded shudder 2 or 3 times this winter and the engine idles like crap in IMO. I had to have the lift pump replaced about 8 months ago and now have a gauge installed. Fuel pressure after the filter is a solid 16 psi at idle and it never drops below 13 psi. Looks like I need to head up to Muncie to visit Dave's Diesel...
Any ideas what might have caused my most recent problem?? Thanks.
