Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fan Support Bearing

I just found a replacement fan support bearing from the manufacture NSK for $29. 00 vs $140. 00 from cummings. part # NSK BD35-12AT12DDU801, had buy thru local bearing supply. Hope this helps someone. 01 24V.

what exactly is this bearing? Where does it go/bolt to? the part number you listed is for what year?

01/24V ,Support bearing for cooling fan ,contained in a bolt on housing on front of engine, Part # is match for oem bearing # made by NSK,The shaft that supports the fan clutch runs in this bearing,when you remove the fan clutch and shaft it attaches to ,you will be able to read the # on your bearing to see if it starts with the same #'s. I called the bearing manufacturer whose name was on my bearing to track down part # and availability. Hope this helps. Frank
