Thanks Man. Imma order a BF1275 and P553203 and the fass adapter today. I think I still have either a 5 or 7um new filter for my stock canister, and I have all the stuff to run my fuel through it.

In your opinion, with that setup, am I going to be filtered adequately? Or should I also throw in a GDP filter with the 2um? Or perhaps ditch the stock canister altogether and run a GDP setup after the Fass?

Im going to take all my excess FASS FF2003's, write 2um on them with a sharpie, and sell them as super special fass 95 filters on cummins forum for 50$ each.

Unfortunately, I had an EZ on it for a while (never on 3, usually 1, sometimes 2). Probably 10K with the stock filter. Then at about 70K I put the Fass on, and I pulled the EZ off and put a smarty TNT on. I ran the smarty with default RP for about 30K, and the rest has been bumped back down to stock RP. I'm at 125K now... still stock injectors. I change the Fass filters every 20-25K. Most of the time the Smarty has been on 5 or less. Right now its on 1.

Its awesome to find out that something I did for a preventative measure, has only hurt me. Im someone who typically researches everything to death... but I never thought about double checking all of FASS's info.

Oh well.

Is there a reason why I cant run the cat/donaldson 2um filter on my fass 95 if I get the 1-14 adapter?? I assume its way to big to throw under there?

Thats part of my dilemma, and why I went with the 95 fass over the 150 (on the filter side). My truck is offroad a LOT, and I didnt want huge filters hanging down there.

Maybe Im better off running my 10um, and the better seperator, then the stock canister with a 5 or 7um, then the 2um cat/donaldson setup like you have on your truck.

No reason. FASS is using the Donaldson P553203 becuase it also strips water, and they didn't upgrade the f/w sep on the vacuum side. With the BF1275 on the suction side you should be able to run a P551313 (2um) or Cat 1R-0750 on the pressure side.

The P551313 is nearly 7" tall, the BF1275 is just under 6".

Sounds great. I think I will run a BF1275 (5-11/16" tall). Its only a bit taller than the FS19594 I'm running. Then I will stick the ~2um 551313 in there in place of the 10um. Then I will plumb my stock canister back in, with either a 5um or a 7um filter. Looks like the hastings FF1260 is the best of the bunch for stock? 5um abs, 99% free sep...

Edit: upon reading the whole thread again for the 5th time (haha)... looks like the BF7977 is mentioned as being the best choice for our stock canisters.

The PF7977 and FF1260 are one in the same, just different labels.

Ok, I know I am slow and this thread is overwhelming. Can someone please narrow down the best set-up to use on the FASS 95?

What W/S to use, What Filter to use, and what parts are needed to run these two on my current FASS 95 housing. Size is not a great concern as mine is a highway queen.

Thanks for accomodating me!

BF1275 water sep

And either the Donaldson P551313 or the P553203.

This is for the fass 95 series filters. Make sure you have a 95/95 and not a 95/150.

Ive been asking a few of the oil field guys what they run, and a lot of them say they run the Baldwin BT8509-MPG. They are telling me its a 3um/5um filter. I looked in to that one, and it looks like a hydraulic filter? This is on the 150 series filters.

Did I miss the boat ? I ordered 3 new BF1212 for my fass. They dont fit ????

They are hugh and the thread is wrong size. Please dont tell me I just threw more of my hard earned money away :{

Sounds like you have a FASS 95, not a 150. You need a BF1275 and a P551315, along with an adapter from FASS to run the P551315.

I have an AD165II, can I assume it uses the same filters as the 150?

Also I was wondering about the stock filter. I have run the AD165II directly to the CP3, but it still returns through the factory lines and filter block. I was wondering if it runs through the filter on the return (basically do I still need to change the stock filter periodically)?

Another question, is their some ware I can order both the Luberfiner WS and the Donaldson FF from the same place?
I went on Luberfiner's web site, it looks like I have to be a distributor to order from them direct.
