FASS question

Read my sig. thinking of a 150 gph FASS setup. Anything better????

Depending if you plan on going with a modded CP3, a FASS 95 can make 45psi all you can get out of a 150 is 25psi.



I vote the FASS, they have got some new motors out that are VERY quiet, cant even tell its there.

If you don't... the 150 GPH will do the job just fine.

The FASS is the way to go, most folks even forget about the entrapped air removal when they compare syetems too, just one more benefit of the FASS!

If you don't, and for some reason they can't find it, they will turn down any warranty claim, even if you have the original receipt. That is what happen to me, they did try to make me happy by extending my warranty 2 years.

Thanks guys, Im a firm believer in big name products. It only takes a few minutes on here to recognize that FASS is a big name. So that is the way I will go. Not going to mod my CP3 truck is probably maxed out as far as upgrades to power, I want more reliability and long engine life so the question still remains is 150 too much or would the 95 be better for my application???

If I recall correctly, it's illegal to deny warranty for not sending in a "warranty" card. However, a company can offer additional benefits (e. g. , extended warranty) if you do send it in.



Back to the subject: I have the Edge J/A and will be putting on a SPS62/14 soon. I've been considering a pump. Since I may later modify the CP3, which pump will work with the stock CP3 and later a modified CP3? Am I asking too much?

True here in CA, but not all states have this great law.

There is an initial 1 year wnty on the pump. Send in the card and proof of purchase and you get the extra 5 years added to it.



As for what pump to run if you do plan on modding your CP3 down the road, I would look at 3 pumps. The 95 GPH (Which can run a max pressure of 80 PSI, but i would do this if you use moderate injectors) or you can just get the 90 GPH@45PSI or 180 GPH@45PSI (For large to extreme injectors) and detune the pressure down to 14-15 PSI until you need the 45.

45-50 PSI -- PS-1013 Spring

Its ok... but your max pressure you can run is about 25 psi... ... .

So we will run'er til she burns up and then a GDP kit will be installed. And someone will find the fass kit laying along the side of the road.

Why not trade somone for a 150/95?

Why not just put a 1/4 turn valve in the return line and close it some to restrict fuel thats trying to get back to the tank, should increase fuel pressure... Hmmm...

Leave it open up most of the time, Normal driving, and turn it close to you get the pressure you want for racing, sledpulling, etc.

Im not saying it wont work... ... . but i am saying that once you get the amperage over a certian point its not good on the motor..... it may not fail... . but it will reduce the life of the motor... ... .



AND when i say you cant go above 25 PSI..... i mean that..... you cant. We have a relief built in to the t-block keep it under 25 psi... ...
