I disagree with that statement completely.
One dealing with FASS warranty people and you'll run to AirDog.
After having way to many issues with the 180GPH FASS on my 12v(3 motor failures in less than 4 years)I was glad to see that fuel system leave when I sold my 12v. the ONLY reason it remained on the truck while I owned it was due to their 7 yr warranty as I had plenty left.
Their warranty is a PIA also when you need something done for your system. Drop the pump, remove the filters and ship it back to them AT YOUR COST. Then when the pump is returned its also shipped to you AT YOUR COST for a failure that had nothing to do with you or your install. The 3 failures I had with mine were ALL pump design related, period. The 1st one I removed the entire assembly and waited for the 2 weeks while they had my pump while they,FASS,decided if it was my fault or theirs. The last 2 failures I removed the pump, called FASS,paid their OUTRAGEOUS fee to ship a new motor out, then sent the old one back and waited for weeks(months the first time I did it this way)for them to refund my money.
Upon buying my new to me 05 CR it was found it had a FASS on it. The first thing I did after buying the truck was remove the FASS and sell it as I will not have that friggin problem again. The ADII has been on my truck ever since and I am very happy with it.
