I currently have a 2. 5 shyjacker kit and am running 33" tires. . looking at going to 35's or 37's anyone running a 2. 5" lift and bigger tires by trimming the fenders and a little creative hammer work ????? dont want to lift if it more if I dont have to... just want more rubber under it...

My buddy has a 93 with a four inch lift and is running the goodyear military 36 in tires wich are about the same size as a 35. He did some mild trimming and the fit fine. I think you should be able to clear 35s with some pretty decent trimming. The biggest problem is the rear of the wheel whell that can't be trimed much without getting into the floor of the cab. Good luck.

It's a pretty bad photo, but it shows how much he had to cut. The right side of the photo is the front of the truck. He has Rancho 4-inch leafsprings, the tires are Goodyear OZ 36"x12. 50"x16. 5". The tires are 34. 5" from the ground to the top of the tire with the weight of the truck on them. They rubbed pretty bad without triming. Hope this helps, I can get more info if you need it.

BFG 315/75/16 w/ 2.5 SJ

I run 315/75R/16 on my W250 with a 2. 5 SJ frt. spring and Bushwacker Cut-Out Fender Flares. The fender Flares were alot of work to install but give the truck a tough look with an acceptable Ride Height.

Shoot me an email to my PM and I'll send you a few pics if interested. I've never managed ot figure out how to post my truck pics on the site.

I had 35x12. 50r16. 5 BFG A/Ts on my truck with unknown lift springs. The measurement on mine is 26" from the center of the front hub to the fender lip, that will give you a comparison for your truck. They fit fine, slight rub at rear of fender well when compressed at about 3/4 steering lock. No rub at full lock. My rub could be remedied with a hammer and still look good, very minimal.
