Ok last & final update- Chrysler C/S rep texted me & said the parts were finally available & at dealership, I got an appointment and bring truck in for repair. Now here’s the clincher, I wait 4.5 hrs, service writer said truck was done. Jump in her & drive home, get call from service writer stating “oh by the way your truck wasn’t worked on!” WTF, 4.5 hrs and they didn’t do a thing. Long story short had to go back days later for original repairs which they finally did 2nd time around, now feeling they owed me for 4.5 hrs the first time & 3 hrs second time I’ll never get back plus 120 miles traveled, I asked for an oil change and dealership pick up the cost of the new transmission filter cost of $70 they were gonna charge me for. It isn’t a whole lot of compensation but it made me feel a bit better - it’s sad that if I hadn’t asked for something the dealership wouldn’t have offered a thing. As with a lot of businesses customer service has taken a back seat all in the name of the greedy owners. It’s getting harder & harder to get quality service/customer service these days.
