Does anybody know what the torque is for the bolts on a flywheel of a 04. 5 manual trans?

My shop manual for a 2003 shows two different numbers for the flywheel bolt torque. In the clutch service section it shows 70 ft-lbs and in the engine section it shows 55 ft-lbs. In the 5. 7L section it shows 70 ft-lbs. I think that the proper torque is 55 ft-lbs and that whoever had the job of editing the manual didn't catch the variation between the 5. 7L and the 5. 9L.

Careful, PWirth! The 5. 9 is a gas engine. There's a separate section for the diesel. See page 9-325, which says the flywheel bolt torque is 101 ft*lb.

Thanks Ryan. It didn't even cross my mind that Dodge was still offering the 360 V-8. I thought that it was gone in 2003 and that they only offered the Hemi and a smaller V-8 and V-6. I searched around a little bit and found that they didn't move to the Hemi completely until December 2002. I knew that those numbers both seemed low, I should have kept searching.

Thanks guys!! I dont have a shop manual on this truck. By any chance does your book give the torque for bolting a nv5600 housing together?
