The question is if the increase is worth the cost. But we come across that question on a lot of products.
We would all be money ahead if we stayed stock... ... ... ... . but where is the fun in that.
Might as well drive a mini-van

I don't think these lil products were ever intended to satisfy a sled puller
Don't over-flatter yourself, this thread was not about your truck
I guess not all Mitchelized trucks pull... ... ... I noticed in your pic you are runing a Banks intake, chrome no less. What did Banks claim?Something like 40hp,but what he didn't say it was with a hotter plate
So his dyno sheets that he provided for the 3rd gens wasn't valid in your opinion, how much more proof do you want. The 2nd gen manifold is still in the works so again relax sit back and wait for more results.

If Dave and Bob have our best interest, why not do a comparison between various intake manifold company's to see which is truly a better product.
I'm sure AFE would like to prove to us that the BladeRunner is a better product than all the others.
I know Bob is well respected among many of us and I'm not trying to bash him. Nothing against Dave either although he's not as respected!:-laf

This AFE intake is a vain attempt to force air do what it doesn't like to do,flow around bends and corners without disruption. All the tricks in the world does not correct where the problem really lies, unless you,as Bob stated earlier, lop off the intake and start fresh. To add a few blades to direct the air around the minor bends in the intake itself still does not address the real issue.
Still waiting to see the sheets... ..... Andy
