Just an FYI to anybody, Powerstroke can be any engine Ford deems up to the name. Its a Ford name, not an International name. The next Ford diesel may be called a 6. 7 Powerstroke; up to Ford on that one. And I would almost guess the name will carry over; why would they call it a Scorpion... wheres the connection for the general public between a diesel and a scorpion??
With all the aformentioned 'trouble' that Ford has had with the Powerstroke in the past,I sincerely doubt that any marketing firm would label a new in-house diesel with the same name..... that would be dumb. That would be like McDonalds marketing the Big Mac for the last 6 yrs. and the general public absolutely hating the sandwich... . including bad press from agencies that have held taste tests,Movies made to contradict the burger and whatever else the media can do to 'Slam' McDonalds for making such an awful sandwich. Low and behold,McDonalds comes out with a new burger to offer to the general public... . this sandwich is great!!It boasts twin patties, bacon and fresh veggies:-lafOh boy!!McDonalds is on its way to the top now fella's... . this new sandwich is going to bring us back on top again!!
Let's call it the... ... the... . THE..... BIG MAC!!!:-laf:-laf:-laf

Come on man... . why would Ford call this new in-house diesel a Powerstroke!!
