Is there any company that makes aftermarket rotors and bearing assembly besides Dodge for the front brakes on a 95 4x4:confused:

National Bearing part number is 515012 for rear ABS only hub assembly. Oriely's, Napa, Autozone, etc. Also, most carry Promaster brand, which is the Chinky brunk(Brand + Junk)

515034 is for National Left front hub for 4 wheel ABS, 515035 is for the right hub 4 wheel ABS hub assembly(in case you want to be able to lube your bearings... )

Guys, sit down... I've got some samples on my desk that are from one of the companies you've mentioned... Nice American name but is made off shore in a plant that makes 2-3 million units a year as a tier 2 supplier... ... . the lines are very blurry... .

Well which company are you talking about jelag? I'm still not sure how you seperate the rotor from the hub either. I read that the wheel studs get pressed out to get the rotor off and then press the studs back thru the hub and new rotor. Is that the way its done ?

Yep, unfortunately a real PIA but doable for most shade-tree mechanics. Removed mine using a brass chunk and hand sledge. Fun#@$%!

I've got samples on my desk of the 515061 (dodge) 515025 (Ford), 515036 (GMC) hubs with ABS sensors attached... . they have the name of the bearing company imprinted into the edge of the hub with the part number... I was asked not to share the information as the ones we'd receive would be labeled for us... and we don't have the right to use the bearing companies name.

When you see BCA (Federal Mogul, Timkin, SKF, your seeing a world company that's moved a lot of manufacturing off shore so they can sell products into other countries and stay competitive... . They've chosen to move those jobs off shore... .

We re-manufacture mostly Class 8 clutches and industrial clutches... our largest OEM, Spicer no longer manufactures or assembles new or Re-man products in the US... they do the tear down and inspection of all the parts, only sending containers of good parts off shore. . but its done off shore... . they alone closed 3 clutch plants and laid off I guess close to 600 people about 3 or 4 years ago...

I know when I did mine I removed the brake caliper and the rotor just slides off. You might need to motivate it alittle but it just slides on to the hub. I replaced both front hubs, upper and lower ball joints and u-joints on the axles since I was that deep. They were in there for about 100,000 miles. The hubs were not fun to get out! Used all new napa parts. The hubs came with new studs in them. My truck is an 01 so I don't know if it is different.

Yes, yes it's completely different. They changed the design for the 2000 Model Year. Y2K's slide off the hub, '99 and earlier, press on between the hub and knuckle. FWIW, Moose
