I know this has been covered before, but I can't find the thread or TSB on it. The front window tinting on my '03 is now starting to scratch. I recall reading about a TSB on the rubber liners that rub up against the windows on the front doors. If any of you have any info. on this problem, please let me know. I need to get this taken care of. Thank You , very much. Joe.

Here is a thread: Tint TSB

Here is the TSB: TSB 23-025-03 link

I'm having trouble with my dealer doing the TSB, they say it doesn't aply to my truck. Then again they can't fix my A/C either, tomorrow will be the third attempt. :(

Here's the TSB - which is commendable on DC's part because they certainly don't have to be the least bit responsible for aftermarket equipment failures.

TSB 23-025-03

Date: Oct. 24, 2003

Models: 2003 (DR) Ram Truck

Overview:

This bulletin involves installing a revised door inner belt weather strip.

Symptom/Condition:

Customers who have installed aftermarket window tint film may experience the film on the windows becoming scratched from contact with the door inner bell weather strip. Some vehicles may have been bull with the weather strip not having a coating of soft protective flocking on the surface that contacts the window.

Diagnosis:

Inspect the door inner belt weather strip for the presence of a soft protective flocking on the surface that contacts the window. If the flocking is not present, perform the Repair Procedure.

Parts Required:

Qty. Part No. Description

2 55276897AC Weather Strip - Standard Cab Front

2 55276895AC Weather Strip - Quad Cab Front

2 55276896AC Weather Strip - Quad Cab Rear
