Just installed new injectors into 2nd Gen 24 valve. Got to learn a bit of knowledge about this Diesel. All upgrades I have done are external.
My question 2 days after tear-down & install is this:
When the fuel flows through each line, into the cross-over tube, into injector, what keeps the fuel from leaking between cross-over tube & injector?
That metal-metal fit is just pressure between 2 apparently hard meatals. If it leaks, where does it go? Can't see the tubes from the top. PSI must be pretty high at this point, isn't it?
Will the fuel leak into oil?
