2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fuel gauge problems

I am beginning to see my fuel gauge show lower than the true level. Sometimes after start up the bell will ring and the needle is pointed at E. Then after a few minutes go to the true level. Any one else have this problem? Could this be a re-flash issue. TIA Bill

More than likely the sender in the tank as they are well known for being poor. New sender from the dealer is $50-60. You shouldnt need the enite module just the sender unit.
