Fuel Guage Sending Wire

I cut the light blue wire with the black tracer, but nothing. fuel guage stayed the same. I'm installing a in bed fuel tank and can't figure out whats going on.



Help please.

First, cycle the key, the gauge is damped so it takes a while to change.



Second, make sure you get the light blue with black tracer, the black with light blue tracer is the ground side.

blue wire with black stripe (from dash) is connected to transfer flow's yellow wire. This happened to me when I installed one .

Just turn the ignition on and off and it will reset. Unless you got the wrong blue/black wire.

I did cycle the key a few times, I'll try again tomorrow. I hope I just did not wait long enough. I left the key on for at least a couple minutes.

It works.



That fuel guage sure is slow to respond, it takes a few to see any change when switching between tanks.
