i have never dealt with the early 94 trucks but my neighbor has one and said he had some fuel leaking out. i looked around and i located it to the fuel filter canister. it seems that on the bottom of the canister there is a purge valve and i believe it is leaking from there, i havent pulled it off yet due to time constraints but just looking for any tips or past probs that people may have had with this. thanks in advance. josh

Have him just change the filter , may be due anyway , a good brand will come with a new seal , its also possible that theres a little bit of stuff in the bled valve , not letting it seal , taping on the valve may wash it out .

thanks guys, i am sure that a filter change is do. i told him that i would pick him one up and change it first but i wanted to see if this was a common prob on the early 2nd gen. i wasnt aware genos had the valve, i will check them out if i have to go that route. thanks j
