Radiator question

Transmission light on the dash

Because it is way cheaper to buy a full assembly with the rail instead of all sensors without the rail.
I don't know why but all together is just a couple Dollars more then just the RP Sensor.

But yes from a technical view there is no reason to drop that tube.

That is the reason I did it. I wanted to replace the PRV and for a few extra dollars I could just replace the whole set up.

The problem with the rail is if there is any contamination inside it, it is next to impossible to get it clean. It would worry me that he said it started after replacing the pump and filter. If any debris got on the clean side of the filter housing (like prefilling it with fuel) it can get into the rail and eventually work it's way into the injectors.
