fule heater disassembly

I'm trying to spin the fuel heater, why can't i spin it off because the plug thats gives the heater power is hitting the block. Is there any tips or tricks on getting the heater off. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You should be able to hold the heater with large channel locks, and screw out the stud (threaded piece). Not sure if the stud has a hex internally, or slots for a screwdriver. I've seen both. The heater is probably stuck at the o-ring.
