Garmin GPS 12MAP dah mount needed

I cant find one that looks like a good mount. The OEM Garmin is junk.



Any bright ideas???

Same GPS I had until it up and walked away. Still don't know what happened to it.

Garmin makes a mount that holds the 12 map nicely, but mounting that thing somewhere is a pain. So what I did is I went to panavise and ordered the dash mount that they make for my 2002 CTD. I installed that thing as per their instructions, then drilled and bolted the Garmin mount to that. Worked out great and held the GPS in a perfect reading position. Now, since my 12MAP is missing in action, I've mounted a Motorola phone mount for my i58SR Nextel to the Panavise. It works great as well! Check out panavise and snoop around for their automotive dash mounts. They make a ton of them, and have a spec sheet that specifies which mount will work with your dash.



Good luck! I just wish I could find my 12 MAP.
