I would like to assume that it would not, but having had mixed success with assumptions in the past, I thought I should ask - and not ask the dealer who I am sorry to say is useless, having sold all of two CTD trucks - ever.

I would like to put an SPA Dual Boost/EGT gauge in the SRT-10 A pillar mount but would like to know whether some weasel at Dodge will subsequently claim this as grounds for voiding my warranty. With 320 miles on the clock, that would be a pity.

Cheers,

I cannot imagine a reason that any service manager or dealership would give that would not allow you to put gauges on your truck other than the probe going south and destroying everything in it's path (very unlikely).

I am having gauges installed today by a Dodge mechaninc (as a side job). The only problem that I can think of is if you or the installer left shavings in the manifold and you suffered turbo damage they would probably deny warranty service after seeing the gauge tap.

Thanks

Thanks very much. I found a great thread in the search with detailed instructions on installing the SPA gauge I want to put in and ways to avoid shavings in the manifold.

Cheers,
