2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Getting the leaves out of the a/c

I have a horrible tree that I have to park by and it drop a bazillion trillion million freaking leaves on my truck. They are little and I find them every where! Last week I turned on the a/c and it sounds like a leaf is hitting the blower fan. Also it seems like I'm not getting the same flow I use to, for a while now the first speed setting doesn't seam to do anything, so i leave it on the second or third speed to get any air out... .



Can I open a door or gain access to the this are to vacuum out any crap?

The only way I know of is to take the blower motor and fan out. Three screws and a wire clip under right side of dash. Then get the biggist shop vac that you can find and put the hose in the hole. Then get an air hose and blow up the floor vent with the controls set on high heat.

Very common problem. On a 97 you can reach in the hole when you pull the fan and pluck out the crap, then rinse it out with a garden hose to get the little ground up stuff.

THEN go to Geno's and get the cowl filter they sell, it will never happen again. The rotting leaves will also corrode your AC evap in short order.

First the permit to cut down a tree larger than 8" radius is an arm and a leg, than I would have to display a public notice that I was cutting the tree down and if anyone wanted to contest:-{} it they could put a hold or cancel the permit, and then I would have to pay more money or plant another tree somewhere..... I've looked into it

Drill it full of little holes and maybe bugs will kill it. Should be no problem with cutting down a dead tree... . safety hazzard ya know.
