So i have a leak in my a/c lines and have traced them to behind the glove box area. Does anyone have any idea's or hints on getting that section of the dash out so i can get to it. don't wanna destroy the dash. it's in a 1998. 5 dodge. thanks for any info.

If you are detecting a refrigerant leak inside the cab, it is the evaporator leaking. The aluminum lines from the evaporator extend outside the cab through the firewall into the engine compartment. If the evaporator is leaking the dash has to be pretty much completely detached from the inside of cab and supported out of the way to remove the AC housing which contains the evaporator and heater core and other parts of AC air direction controls. There is a good write up on here some time back on jhow to do this job, try searching for it. Good luck.
