I lived on campus too, and partied my rear off. That was part of the reason it was challenging at first. Well to survive in that arena you have to learn some self discipline and time management is all. . Oh well. Glad you have found your way amongst stinking , smoking?, livestock. Whatever makes ya happy is A-ok with the rest of us I'm sure.

I second that notion. I spent 6 years in college working toward a degree in construction management. All the while, I worked around 30 hours a week to pay my bills and help out, and my parents paid the tuition. It took a while and I finally made it out in December, 2001. Up until about a year before I got out the construction industry was booming big time down here and we had a 100% employment rate after graduation. Now, the only way to get close to that is for grads to go out of state. I myself, with a degree and 2 years of continuous experience and 3 years of college field work, I'm having a very hard time finding a job so that I can move back home. Trust me, I know the job market is very crappy right now across the board.



Women, what can I say. I've dated barrel racers steady fro the past long while. I can honestly say there's absolutely nothing like them anywhere. You folks that are around rodeo know what I"m talking about, but for those of you who don't it's difficult to explain. These women are beautiful for the most part, but the odd thing is they are tough. My ex would work with me cleaning stalls, building fence, riding the 4-wheelers, etc all day long stinking and sweating, but when night fell she turned into a lady. Plus, those barrel racers have some strong legs from riding so much, and I think ALL of ya'll know where that leads to.

My current Wife use to train horses and still works with ours for their round pen work. I handle the saddle training. My exwife was a trophy wife I tried that routine for 15 years. It wasn't fun anymore. Neither was living in town in a subdivision. High maintenance women ain't for me. Still own the house in the subdivision though. It's now a rental. Current wife will take care of the feeding if I'm busy including feeding the fish. Has her own quad. She came with her own saddle and tack when I met her. I knew she couldn't be to bad when I saw that. And even helps with skinning out deer and such. And I don't have to turn the lights off either. Now she wanting her own gun. I couldn't be prouder.

My wife has her own shotgun and regularly outshoots me at the skeet range. She also has no problem with an NV5600. Gotta love these Texas women.

Back to the subject

I've seen signs along the interstate with a 800 number to report smoking vehicles in several states. In some states you don't get off with a warning but with a fix it ticket.

If there was a number to call in Montana I would definitely call it but not for a diesel as a rarely see one smoking, mostly beater gassers that shouldn't be on the road.

Farmer all my life, never lived in a city. If one of my tractors or trucks smoked I wouldn't just think there was something wrong with it, I would know something is wrong with it. With a modern engine there is absolutely no reason for smoking except ignorance.



If you think smoking is cool take a trip to Mexico City sometime where there no emissions laws and the people who can afford it have filtered air in the their homes and wear gasmasks when they go outside.

my father in-laws forklift at the yard the other day. It sounded, drove, and smoked like a diesel. I asked him which engine it had and he said some foriegn gasser... I was kind of shocked and said "Gasser!!?" He said yep the carb is really jacked up and it's running too rich.



I can't remember the make of the lift, but it wasn't american thats for sure. But it was dirt cheap, runs, and lift's a helluva load. I told him i'd pull the carb and rebuild it if he'd buy the kit and beer.
