Attention: TDR Forum Junkies First winter trip loaded last week. 8 degrees. Drove first 100 miles (nys thruway) with wind block, temp gauge covered the 1 and almost reached the 9.
took the wind block off, gauge almost reached the 1.
my conclusion at this point - unloaded I'll keep the thing on all winter for the quicker warm ups, insulation. (even 40 degree days as it barely touches the 1) Unloaded, most of my driving times are short.
loaded I'll NEVER use it - thing generates plenty of heat pushing my camper through the wind. Loaded, most of my drive times are long.
