It's been pretty darn nippy these past few mornings in Connecticut. I've not seen the grid heater come on yet, though. What is it that tells it to turn on, and what other things might I look for to make sure I don't have a problem before I really start to need it?

As I recall the '94's come on around 55 degrees f. Mine fired today for the first time this year, the thermometer said 53. It didn't fire at 57 last week.

paul we can tech that fri night if you like. I went through it all last year ended up with new relays on the driver side fenderwell.

Anyway, the WTS light on the dash will stay on for about ten seconds vs. the 2-3 on inital turn of the key, and when you start it the volt guage will flucuate up+down and lights will get brigh then dim.

I remember that from last year, the WTS light, wagging voltmeter needle, dimming lights and so forth. It did finally work this morning, so all is well. :)
