I am looking for a secondary grill gaurd to protect my radiator & other cooling systems. This would be mounted either behind existing grill or in front of the cooling systems themselves. Does anyone sell such an animal or do I need to design one myself? Thanks for your help. Bryan

Stull makes two nice sets for the Ram. I was very worried about the openings in the bumper getting hit by rocks off road in Baja as there are delicate parts in there that could leave you stranded if damaged. The Stull stuff fits the bumper and hood openings. Installation is about a "7" on a 1-10 scale imo. www.carparts.com carries Stull goodies.

I'm using the stull grill as well - you break out the existing honeycomb and install the stull grills. Here's a pic of the front of my truck:

It works great - they gravel our roads twice a year and I use to get tons of hits on my A/C condensor and intercooler - none since the install. It also stops almost all of the bugs from getting through too. One recommendation I have is when you install the bumper grills instead of mounting them behind the bumper like they say, mount them in front of the bumper. They fit in there great and with the frame around them if the did take a HARD hit (like a deer) they wouldn't push through the bumper. If you mount them behind the bumper I'm afraid they might go right into the intercooler.

Summit racing also sells them.

I like the looks and protection, but the web site only lists Ford applications for the SS series grill.

Am I missing something?
