Head, rod and main bolts... Reusable ???

Are these bolts reusable ? Ive read yes and no. Just looking for a definitive answer. Im sure someone here would know. I know ideally they should probably be replaced but budget wise if i don't absolutely have to id rather not.

Head bolts can be re-used. Cummins has a tool that compares the length of the used bolt to a specific length standard. As long as the used bolt is within that range, the used bolt can be used again. I can't help you with the rod and main bolts, but I would not be surprised to find that they are handled in the same manner.

Yes they are all reusable.The gauge for the head bolt length is included in the Cummins top end gasket kit(sams kit rebadged from the dealer)
