Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Heeeeelp!!!

i got bad fuel... pumped the tank pulled it out wiped it dry... . but the truck has no power at the top end... . like it runs outta fuel,no smoke no rpm at top was3100 now wont go over 22 :{

do u think the water could have mested up the transfer pump ... truck has 200 thousand on it... thats wat mark at pdr thinx ... just wanted to see if any body ever had that prob

Did you get water in that fuel or was there some sediment in there? Maybe clogged the fuel filter or the screen in the fuel heater. Id look into those if you didnt already.

As he said, check these two things. Water will not allow fuel to pass throughfilter , thus the no power feeling.
